a thank you giveaway

We are well into June now, but I’m still smiling from a whirlwind release month. Thank you so much to everyone who has stepped into Cooper and Sloane’s world and helped spread the word about their story — AND Nick and Chelsea’s, for that matter!

I wish I could bake everyone Sloane’s toffee chocolate chip cookies for their love and support, but I do have a few things to give away.

In honor of Sloane’s spreadsheet-loving ways and the fact that Chelsea from That’s When I Knew runs a planner business, our grand prize is a set of undated, six-month Cultivate What Matters Powersheets, a signed paperback of With No Reservations, and an electronic copy of the Love at First Laugh novella collection featuring That’s When I Knew. You can keep it for yourself or pay it forward to a friend.

If you’ve followed me on social media for any length of time, you know how much I love my Powersheets. They’re not a planner but a set of worksheets that help you identify your goals at the beginning, sort through what’s working and not working for you in your efforts, and include a section for each month to prioritize and create action steps so you can make progress. I have used them to motivate myself to go to the gym more, reach writing goals, form new habits, and be more intentional about my YESes and NOs.

They promote progress not perfection, designed to be messy and meaningful. Right now, they’re sold out until next year, but I snagged a teal set because I’d love to help one of my friends reach his/her goals in the second half of 2017. Three other winners will get copies of my sisters’ novels, Then There Was You by Kara Isaac, the Of Rags and Riches historical romance collection featuring my sisters Anne Love and Jaime Jo Wright, and Sarah Varland’s latest romantic suspense, Perilous Homecoming.

(ETA: Giveaway closed and winners have been notified!)

To enter, comment telling us what dream or habit you would use the Powersheets for. (Or if you just want some books!)

For additional entries, you can leave separate comments telling me if you have:

Thank you so much, y’all! I’m convinced I have the best friends and readers <3 While I can’t bake cookies for everyone, you can find Sloane’s cookie recipe and more by downloading this free PDF! Bon appetit!

  1. Hi Laurie! I have signed up for your emails also! 🙂 I’m glad you did this as I thought I was already signed up! Thank you so much for the recipes also! Have a great day! 😀

  2. I am a dreamer and love setting goals but am not very good at writing them down. I have a small business I’m trying to launch and writing things down would be immensely helpful to that end. I’ve been so curious about the powersheets!

  3. Oh man, I would need it for organizing my life with homeschooling and keeping up on decluttering the house! I need to look into this. I’m not good at goals and I think I need this kind of help. LOL

  4. Well, I haven’t ever seen powersheets in person, so I need to take a closer look at them. I would like to track the books I read in one year. There are other areas in my life that could stand to get more organized – including organizing/simplifying my clutter. And yes, I would just love to win books, regardless. 🙂 There’s nothing quite like getting a book in the mail to offset all the bills.

  5. Instagram and fb follower!! — I would love power sheets to organize my new school year and goals and dreams for my household!!!

  6. Hi! I’d use those gorgeous power sheets to help juggle grad school and work with training for a half marathon, being diligent with my Weight Watchers program, and organizing+leading the MBA student association at school.

  7. I will use the powerbook for my dreams with Plexus!! I aspire to continue to help people feel better and pursue health and financial freedom with this company, and these power sheets will help me set my goals for each day, month and year in order for me to achieve those goals!!

  8. I can’t believe I wasn’t already following you on IG! I just started following you and liked your FB page and signed up for emails! Excited to stay in touch more through that!

And, I totally wanted to buy these powersheets but they sold out too fast! I would LOVE to use them to write down some dreams regarding a potential book idea, conference idea and more. 🙂

  9. I can use the Powersheets for my organizing my small business and creating goals from week to week. And writing.

  10. Oh my goodness! I just heard about these yesterday and have been enthralled! Where was this 30 years ago? I absolutely love the idea of cultivating our life, our dreams, our relationships. My word for this year is Thrive and it really meshes well with the whole cultivate theme.

I would use them to help focus my “thriving” on writing (need those goals to keep me on the path! It’s hard getting back into it!), on my new eating plan (I want to be healthy and enjoy all this thriving), and my relationships (staying in touch with friends while working outside the home AND writing is difficult.).
So that’s what I would use it for. 😉

I follow you on Instagram. I already like your FB page. I got your newsletter. And while I haven’t posted a review yet, I WILL. I am 2/3’s through the novella collection and am almost to YOURS. And I have your LI book and will read it next. 😉

Whew…not sure why my comment is soooo much longer than everyone else’s.

  11. First of all, love your books 🙂 okay…got that out. Yes, I liked Facebook, follow instagram, left review and signed up for newsletter.
As for those awesome power sheets….I need to get into shape and lost some weight. It’s a struggle for me. Need some motivation. I checked into those when I first saw you talk about them quite awhile ago, but haven’t quite made the plunge yet. Maybe now is the time!!!

  12. We have had monthly goals for house remodeling since we bought our house four years ago. It’s slow going! And I feel like we’ve hit a lull.
The power sheets might help me get us back on track for the next surge!

  13. Let’s see…perhaps I could use them to get a plan for finishing numerous projects I’ve started!!
I have done all of the things above – left a review for both, follow in Instagram, like your author page, and get your emails!!

  14. I would use it for my new position with the Sexual Assault Team I work with and how we are branching out to work human trafficking… also I really want the books 🙂

  15. I hadn’t heard about the powersheets before, but I’m sure they would come in handy as I work with Christian Authors as a VA. Love the thought process behind them and can totally see how helpful they would be!
